Why Pi in the Skye?

The name Pi in the Skye came about as a thoughtful blend of inspiration, science, and sustainability, contemplating life, hope and an uncertain future while sitting viewing a wide horizon on the Isle of Skye.

It draws from the famous phrase and song "Pie in the Sky," which speaks of hope and a better future. We’ve reimagined that vision with a modern and grounded twist. Our "Pi" refers not only to the mathematical constant π—an elegant symbol of circles and infinite potential—but also to the circular economy we believe in: one that is renewable, regenerative, and sustainable by design.

"Skye" evokes a sense of horizon and possibility, while also giving a nod to nature and the planet we aim to protect. Together, Pi in the Skye reflects the belief that a better, more sustainable future isn't just a dream—it's something we can build through innovation, circular thinking, and a commitment to justice and the planet.
